Dinner at Pintxo and Giveaway winners

First things first, thanks to everyone who entered for a chance to win some holiday teas from Celestial Seasonings!  The two winners, selected by random.org are:
#7 Amanda and #15 Lisa! Congrats, I will be emailing you both to get your mailing address!

Now onto a fun dinner Darling Husband and I enjoyed this past week. I had purchased a Groupon for Pintxo, a tapas bar here in Seattle, and we finally got to use it!
The restaurant was busy, but luckily I had made a reservation.  We sat close to the bar and they have an open kitchen so we were able to see everything going on!  I started out with the housemade limemade.  It was delicious and so refreshing!
I was starving so I demanded we get the bread plate.  Our food was so quick that we probably didn't need the bread......???? The baguette was from Macrina, so delicious.
Catalan sausage served with a red pepper coulis. Very good with a nice little kick.
They also have a few different toasts. We chose the Montadito de Serrano.  Serrano ham, manchego cheese, and salsa alicante.  YUM! this was my favorite thing of the night.  Bread, cheese, and meat!! Three of my favorites on one plate! My sweet husband let me have two of the three..smart guy.  So far, I've basically eaten an entire baguette.
Pork Sliders.  The pork was citrus cinnamon braised.  The flavor was really unique, I loved the cinnamon.  Each serving comes with three sliders.
We also had some prawns sauteed in chili pepper, garlic, and sherry sauce. I forgot to get a photo!! It was good and it was served with more.....bread.  Perfect to dip in that yummy sauce!
Another one of my favorite things, bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese. This is a must-have whenever I go to a tapas place. We ended up getting two orders!
For dessert, bread pudding with a dulce de leche sauce.  I loved the caramel sauce, but the bread pudding wasn't necessarily my favorite.  There wasn't a bite left behind though! For those of you who know my husband, this bread pudding definitely didn't meet his bread pudding standards!
We had a nice dinner date at Pintxo.  It would be a fun place for a girl's night also.  The food was good. Fun environment.  Very friendly and quick service.  I would definitely go back, especially when I can enjoy a glass of sangria!
