Triple Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting and a Giveaway!
I just love peanut butter and chocolate! Pretty sure I'm not alone in this one!
I used this Decadent Triple Chocolate cake mix from Duncan Hines. The back of the box had a recipe for triple chocolate cupcakes. I had to go for it. The cake mix features two different pouches: the main cake mix and a chocolate filling with chocolate chunks. You just add the fudgy topping to the cake mix and bake!
The cake mix made just over a dozen cupcakes so instead of making a full batch of buttercream, I made a simple peanut butter glaze.
These cupcakes were a cinch and very tasty! I loved the extra chocolate flavor. I'll have to try and make the cake sometime too.

ReplyDeleteFavorite cake: lemon cake with lemon curd and whipped cream filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. This was to top layer of our wedding cake and I make a version every year for our anniversary.
Of course, we'll never say no to chocolate either!
